1. Trust Objectives & Operation Scope
- Consumer Protection: Run designated consumer protection guidance centers to prevent commercial exploitation of buyers.
- Public Seminars: Conduct consumer awareness education, academic workshops, and civic rights seminars in schools and villages.
- Publications: Compile, print, and distribute informative pamphlets, booklets, newsletters, and consumer protection guides.
- Market Audits & Research: Direct surveys, product quality audits, and market research studies in the public interest.

2. Membership & Board Governance
- Eligibility: Open to any adult citizen of India, without discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or community.
- Board Powers: The Board of Trustees administers the overall operational activities, properties, and decisions of the trust.
- Meeting Notices: A written agenda notice must be sent to all trustees at least 3 days prior to any board meeting.
- Quorum Rules: Official meetings require a minimum attendance of 3 trustees (for a board of 11) or 1/3 of general members.
- Casting Vote: Resolutions are passed by a majority vote of trustees. In the case of a tie, the President holds a decisive casting vote.
3. Officer Powers & Roles
- Presidential Power: The President serves as the official head, representing the trust, directing all activities, presiding over board meetings, and holding final decision-making power on legal and administrative disputes.
- Vice-President: Supports the President in general administration and performs all duties of the office in the President's absence.
- Secretary & Treasurer: Coordinate trust communications, issue meeting invitations, record and maintain the minute book, compile annual reports, and manage bank transactions.
4. Property & Financial Controls
- Asset Registration: All movable and immovable trust properties must be registered under the official name of the trust.
- Annual Audit: Financial accounts must be maintained systematically and audited by a registered Chartered Accountant.
- Charity Compliance: Audited balance sheets and files must be submitted to the Charity Commissioner and Consumer Protection authorities within 6 months of the end of the fiscal year.
- Fund Raising: Operations are funded via membership subscription fees, public donations, government grants, and bank deposit interest.
